The name says it all. Respekt stands for cultivating an enriching relationship with one another and for a sustainable and conscientious relationship with nature. The inspiration for the association came in 2006 as most of us were considering new paths. We were all enthusiastic about biodynamic principles for agriculture and wine cultivation. The members of respekt promote biodiversity in the vineyards and place great significance on vitality above and under the soil surface. We avoid the use of non-renewable resources and seek a holistic and well-balanced life style. The ideas is twofold: our principles are based on an ethical foundation as well as in the conviction that through biodynamic cultivation and conscientious reduction of intervention in the vineyard that we will aspire to better qualities and increasingly more authentic wines.
